A one day workshop introducing Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and some of the techniques for working with this innovative material. During the day you will learn about the various forms of PMC3 and how the material can be used effectively. You will design a pendant and use various techniques to decorate it. You will also learn how to use PMC paste to make a pendant from a real leaf.
Refining pieces prior to firing and finishing them will be demonstrated as will kiln firing. By the end of the day you will have an understanding of the basic techniques for working with Precious Metal Clay and will have completed two fine silver pendants.
This workshop is taught by tutor Sally Spencer, FGA DGA. ALL materials, refreshments and lunch are included (please state any dietary requirements when booking). Maximum of 8 students
