Oxfordshire Arts are re-introducing our Precious Metal Clay (PMC) workshops, taught by tutor Sally Spencer, FGA DGA.
All materials, refreshments and lunch are included (please state any dietary requirements when booking). Maximum of 8 students per workshop.
Introduction to PMC – introducing Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and some of the techniques for working with this innovative material. During the day you will learn about the various forms of PMC3 and how the material can be used effectively. You will design a pendant, earrings and a charm and use various techniques to decorate them. Refining pieces prior to firing and finishing them will be demonstrated as will kiln firing. By the end of the day you will have an understanding of the basic techniques for working with Precious Metal Clay and will have completed a silver pendant, a set of silver earrings and a silver charm.
